Natural playground
Sweden is a natural playground. An undiscovered and vast destination for incentives, Sweden skirts the Arctic Circle in the north and almost touches mainland Europe with the Öresund bridge in the south.
Go north for every skier’s dream, Swedish Lapland, where virgin wilderness abounds in its giant national parks and UNESCO World Heritage site, Laponia. Stay in Central Sweden for a mix of unadulterated forests, mountains, lakes and historical sites. And head south for rolling countryside (just made for golf) and maritime incentives.
For famed seafood, boating and fishing make for the glittering east and west coast archipelagoes. Or for city incentives, Sweden's three big cities, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö are also rich in urban nature and adventure activities.
Activities and destinations
Sweden is a land of all seasons and varying latitudes. That gives you a lot of choice for your incentives. For a happening cold hot spot, choose Lapland, Sweden’s Arctic Circle region. Witness the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun. In summer, play golf in the middle of the night, feast on wild reindeer and caviar from Kalix, or go on seal safari. For a truly unique incentive in winter, sleep on an ice bed, wrapped in a bearskin duvet in the famous Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi.
Central Sweden offers the well-preserved medieval cities of Uppsala and the island capital of Gotland, Visby. Opera buffs love Dalhalla amphitheatre carved into a former limestone quarry and Stockholm, simply the capital of über-cool, has everything from water sports, museums, ballet, and hot-air ballooning to its ever-so-hip bars.
Headed south for your incentives? Play golf in southern Sweden. Join an eel feast in Skåne. Soak up some sun on cosmopolitan Malmö’s broad and sandy city beach. Or take a lobster safari on The West Coast and eat world-renowned seafood in Gothenburg.
