Delsjö
The 18-hole Delsjö GK parkland-character course is located on the outskirts of Gothenburg at lake Delsjö. The greens were re-designed in 2004 by renowned course architect Richard Chamberlain. The club tells us that you are guaranteed a ‘fantastic putting experience’ and we don’t doubt it. Delsjö GK lies very close to the city of Gothenburg.
St Jörgen
Sankt Jörgen’s Golf Course is spread out across parkland and the open/ heathland course makes for some fine golf near Gothenburg. This 18-hole course is beautifully finished with fine greens and approaches. With water coming into play (hopefully not too often) on around two-thirds of the holes, precision golf is what counts here.
Försgårdens GK
Försgårdens GK on the west coast, just outside Gothenburg, hosted the 1993 and 1996 Scandinavian Masters. So it’s no pushover. The two courses here, an 18-hole and a 9-hole, are of parkland character and though the fairways and greens are generous, this is a championship course and plays like one.
Chalmers GC
Chalmers GC outside Gothenburg presents a challenging and slightly hilly 18 holes of woodland and parkland character. This course requires strategy and guile, as the woodland holes are tight.
